Concealed Handgun Carry Permit

The Concealed Handgun Carry Permit allows for concealed carry only. The permit is issued for 8 years, and it requires a name-based background check every 5 years.

To apply for this permit, you must do the following:

  • Successfully complete this course or another Tennessee-approved course.
  • Fill out a CCP Proof of Training form, and submit it along with your training proof.
