Course Outline

When deciding if you need to defend yourself and how you will do it, you also must consider the location of innocent bystanders.

  • Your responsibility for the safety and well-being of those in the immediate area is a top priority. In fact, you should always treat everyone in the immediate area as family, except the threat.
  • If you pull the trigger on your gun, the responsibility for your actions falls directly on your shoulders. There is no way you can pull that bullet back because you failed to understand that innocent bystanders were in the way and that others might die as a result of your negligence if you missed your target.
