Personal alarm

Sometimes you might need to rely on the help of others in order to defend yourself. However, for them to come to your rescue, they first must know that you are in trouble. Carrying a whistle or personal alarm can get their attention and will also hopefully scare your attacker enough to think twice about attacking you. When selecting an alarm, it is recommended that you choose one that:

  • Can attach to your keys for easy access and...
  • Is loud enough to grab the attention of anyone who is nearby and...
  • Has a back-up whistle in case the alarm’s batteries fail.
